The aim of this study was to work on extrapolating the jurisprudential views of the Companion Zayd ibn Thabit about Zakat, fasting and Atikaaf then arranging them objectively. Moreover, this study aimed to reveal the status of the great companion Zaid ibn Thabit in Fiqh among the generation of companions - may Allah be pleased with them as well as how the companion Zaid ibn Thabit was interested in learning and teaching the issues of Fiqh " jurisprudence". Furthermore, the importance of this study that is mainly focused on the knowledge of Fiqh " jurisprudence" of Zayd ibn Thabit who was recommended by prophet Mohammed in his knowledge of understanding the provisions of legitimacy for being close to the time of prophecy, revelation and the great companions.
The study was based on the analytical descriptive method by analyzing the points of views expressed by the great companion Zaid ibn Thabit on the issues of Zakat, Fasting and Atikaaf. Beside that to study and analyze these views in relation to the points of views of the four imams and showing any difference if there is. In addition, the study stated the evidences were based on each statement, then stated the most likely statement of opinion in each issue.
The research has included an introduction in which I have explained the reason for choosing this topic and its importance, the methodology which was used in the research as well. In the preface, The translation of the great companion Zeid ibn Thabit. In the first chapter, I talked about his Fiqh on Zakat. In the second chapter, I talked about his Fiqh on fasting. In the third chapter, I talked about his Fiqh about Atikaaf.
The most important outcome of the study is that, it has been proved the agreement between the sayings of the majority of religious scholars about many Fiqh's issues with what the great companions Zeid bin Thabit has said before . Furthermore, the study has showed the most correct view about giving zakaat al-fitr is what the majority of scholars have said. They stated that it is an obligatory charity to those who can afford it. That is because the generality of the Hadeeth that is said about .
The study has recommended the necessity of forming scientific committees in order to clarify some of the provisions of legitimacy received by the Companions and change the statement after that to avoid causing disorder in controversial issues of Fiqh. |
