THE MECHANISMS OF RECEPTION IN SAADALLAH WANNOUS THEATER: A CRITICAL STUDY

Abstract : This study hold the title: (Reception mechanisms at Saadallah Wannoos Theater - critical study), it aimed to identify the nature in the revolving speech about Saadallah Wannoos Theater, from its reading perspectives, its mechanisms, addressed issues among them, means of analyzing the same, motives that induces either its interactions or refusal. It relied on the literary contact points, theory of reception, and comprised of five chapters began with its introduction and closed with a conclusion. The study introductions addressed the thesis’ objectives, importance, its problem and hypothesis. Its first chapter contained the (concept and factors), where for major topics are falling under the concept: reception theory and its definition, literary communication theory, demonstration of some important reception theories, summarized definition for the theater, and the emerged factors in the impact of the social, economic and political environment. The study’s second chapter carried the title: (self-critic and formative vision) – (Social, psychological, cultural and philosophical), a preliminary reading of various critical visions of the theater of Saadallah Wannoos. Then the third chapter comes which was called (Saadallah Wannoos theater and script configuration) in analyzing the four selected cretic scripts and dissembled them, in addition to the references to their semantics which are compatible with the creator's vision Wannoos and sometimes contradicts, this chapter comprised of (Text interaction and text structure). Chapter four carried the title (Reader and reception aesthetics), it comprised of two subjects: reader’ levels and reading strategies. This chapter was fully relying on the implicit and incidental readers, reading strategy were diversified in different dimensions: Dialectical, visual, mystical, and subjective. Study’s last chapter addressed the (direct and indirect reversion), as aimed to further understand the theater concept from Saadallah Wannoos perspectives as a cretic figure, it forms the "horizon composition" phase, and stand on his multiple critical views. Following to the said chapters, the conclusion came, in which it contained its important outcomes, among of which is that the critical studies on the relationship between the theater and the reception did not begin until late, especially in the middle of the last century, where critical views varied about Wannoos’ creative achievement, the cretic circuit about Wannoos theater and history have reached to similarity and rumination, Redo the reading on the issue of rooting in Wannoos. The recommendation then came and was represented in: studying the performances of Wannoos play and the reception, study of communication theory can be applied on other models.
