Abstract : the stage of packaging is one of the most important stages of manufacturing ready-made clothes because the more utilitarian and aesthetic value of the cover and its ability to satisfy the behavioral or educational needs of consumers, the higher the turnout to buy the product not only to benefit from it, but also from the cover so the researcher designed a unit Educational training to acquire the information and skills related to the packaging of female students in manufacturing techniques using multimedia software. This research aims to design a multimedia module to develop knowledge and skills related to packaging in the garment industry, measuring the effectiveness of the proposed educational unit in providing the basic knowledge and skills of packing and packaging, and measuring the direction of students towards the proposed educational unit. This research follows the descriptive approach to analyze packets and the experimental approach; to identify the effectiveness of the proposed educational unit in providing the basic knowledge of garment packaging. The research tools were achievement test (pre / post), practical application test (pre / post), note card and a measure of direction as these tools are the best to investigate the research hypotheses after applying on the research sample which is consisted of (10) female students from clothing and textile department at King Abdulaziz University. The study came out with result, which is that the proposed educational unit was effective in improving female students' level in knowledge and skills.
