The Disagreement of the Salaf (the righteous predecessors) in the Interpretation of the Holy Quran, Applied theoretical study on Surat Al – Maida “the table” From verse (1) to verse (60) Waseem Saleh Ayyash al-Hasani Supervised by Dr. Massoud Mohamed Al - Qahtani Abstract this study aims in the practical aspect to enumerate and mention the places of the disagreement of the Salaf interpreters of the companions and their followers in Surat Al-Maida from verse 1 to verse 60 through the interpretation of Tabari, Ibn Abi Hatim, as well as other books of interpretation (TAFSEER) and the reason for this disagreement, its type, as well as the combination of the sayings of the Salaf , or giving preference between them when this is not possible. The researcher used the descriptive and deductive approaches that help him reach his previous goals. On the theoretical aspect, the researcher handled the concept of disagreement, predecessors and interpretation, as well as the validity and superiority of the interpretation of the Salaf, the characteristics of their interpretation, their sources and their methods, and also discussed the types of disagreements, its causes, the rules of dealing with different interpreters, . The main findings of the study were: the Salaf have characteristics and virtues that are not available to other interpreters. The most disagreement in interpretation are of the kind of diversity. The disagreement of the Salaf in interpretation often have beneficial effects. The study proposes the following recommendations: It is important to pay attention to the topic the disagreement of the Salaf in interpretation, and the adoption of universities and scientific forums for this scientific project, as well as completing it.
