Abstract : The current study aimed to reveal the degree of Awareness of teachers and mothers of the phenomenon of private speech of pre-school children using descriptive analytical methodology, the study sample included (124) teachers and (508) mothers of Third Preschool grade in Kindergarten. In order to measure the degree of awareness, the researcher used a questionnaire composed of three main areas, the knowledge area, the emotional area, and behavior area (designed by the researcher). The data was analyzed quantitatively using Cronbach's Alpha and Independent Sample T-Test, it was also measured quantitatively the mean and standard deviation. The study concluded that there is an average degree of awareness for both teachers and mothers of pre-school children, with a slight difference of mothers at all the axils of the study at reference level (a=0.05). in the light of previous results, the researcher recommended educating parents and raising awareness towards the phenomenon of private speech through the different means of education and to provide courses and workshops for pre-school teachers to identify the growth features in early childhood, she also recommended to encourage the child to use the private speech through introducing the right model in using the private speech to think during doing different activities by the mother and the teacher.
