Abstract : This work presents the building of an intelligent system that helps to diagnose and follow-up diabetes mellitus remotely. Before we started to build this system, we explored some of the works that have been created to diagnose diabetes mellitus then we searched about common points in diagnosis of diabetes mellitus. After that, the database for the system has been designed. The system was designed as three subsystems, a system administrators subsystem, a patients subsystem, and a doctors subsystem. The pages have been designed for each subsystem. The system allows its administrator to enter or update the data about diabetes mellitus symptoms, problems, therapies or treatments, blood sugar readings ranges, patients types, diagnosis types, and all other data that related to the diabetis mellitus diagnosis or to the diabetic patients. In addition, it allows the diabetic patient to request a new diagnosis by selecting symptoms, problems, and treatments or therapies, and entering blood sugar readings. Then it allows doctors to check and review thier patients diagnosis and give some answers and solutions to them. Also, it allows the diabetic patient to review doctor advice and answers, and review a to-do list that shows a set of advice and instruction steps that are given by the doctor. Also, the system will help doctors by suggesting some answers and advice to them. Then the current system was tested and the results have been shown to operate correctly.
