Abstract : This study discusses the role of Al-Qawasim in Gulf area during the period from 1235-1269H/1820-1853G, after the general peace treaty signed between Britain with the cost sheikhs also discusses the impact of this treaty on the coast sheikhs till Britain signed the marine Permanet peace treaty resulting in alteration of Oman coast name to Reconciled coast or the coast of marine Reconciliation. The scientific subject of this research has been divided into an introduction, preamble, three chapters and a conclusion. The introduction contains mentioning the importance of the study and its objectives and the reason for choosing the topic, its difficulties in addition to studying the most important Arabic and foreign references and sources, rather than the scientific curricula represented by the descriptive analytical one in history study. Then the preamble which contains Al-Qawasim political activity in gulf area before 1235H 1820G, the first chapter pays attention to studying the relation between Al-Qawasim and the local forces in the gulf area, in term of dispute between Al-ََQawasim and bani Yas, the Al-Qawasim intervention in Al-Beraimi oasis and Qalaat Deera, and the effect of Dubai and Abu Dhabi separation on Al-Qawasim, and the Al-Qawasim activity in Ajman and Om Al-Qiwin, the second chapter discuses the relation between Al-Qawasim with the adjacent forces, Al Bu said in Masqat and the relation of Al-Qawasim with the second Saudi state, , the third chapter discusses the effect of British influence and its reflections on Al-Qawasim political role, in terms of the effect of the third British campaign on Al-Qawasim influence in the Arabic gulf when Britain held the peace general treaty with the coast Shaikh after the campaign of 1819G, and the effect of this treaty on Al-Qawasim influence, Britain penetrated Al-Qawasim unity, when the destroyion Ras Al-Khaima, and held preliminary individual agreements with each Shaikh separately, establishing Britain base in the Gulf, and the marine armistice agreements, in terms of the factors supporting the holding of the first marine armistice, then an analytical study for the armistice items and nature, and the result given by the armistice. This study has many results the important one of which is that Britain was keen about the peace continuance and stopping the fighting between the coast sheikhs on the sea not for peace but to beat any competing marine force, this was proven by its non intervention in any land disputes and differences as it has the strongest major marine force.
